Saskatchewan Builders' Lien - Regular Service
Filing a builder’s lien lets both your customer and the property owner know you are serious about getting paid. Once a lien is registered, it will hold up the release of any funds (i.e. project draws) and it can prevent the sale or transfer of the property.
If your claim is between day 1 to day 34 of the lien deadline then use the online form below. If you prefer to file offline you will find a PDF.
If your claim is between day 35 to day 40 of the lien deadline then you should use our Rush – Saskatchewan Builders Lien Filing Service
To file a lien you must have:
All unpaid or unsatisfied liens must have action commenced within two years from the date of the debt was incurred or date of last payment (whichever is the latter of the two).
