Lien deadlines in AB have been extended; however, there is a transition period for projects commenced prior to August 29, 2022. Your lien deadline may vary; therefore, Lien-Pro's calculator is conservative and will continue to calculate your lien deadline at 45-days to help mitigate you potentially missing your lien deadline.
Deadline Extensions as of August 29, 2022:
- Construction industry: from 45 days to 60 days
- Concrete industry: from 45 days to 90 days (extension does not apply for ready-mix supply or install)
